5:30am: Alarm

Yes, I get up that early most days! Sometimes I’ll just laze in bed and read, and have breakfast and other days I’ll be out the door and heading to do an F45 workout (my new fave) or teach a Pilates client. I tend to wake up when it gets light outside so during the summer it’s always super early — I love it.

6am: Breakfast

If I’m not dashing out the door then I’ll always take my time with breakfast. I have lemon water and apple cider vinegar, and currently love buckwheat and oat porridge for breakfast with a huge dollop of almond butter and drizzle of honey. I’ll either get back into bed and put the news on, read for a bit or simply sit and eat mindfully thinking about my day ahead.

7:45am: Workout

I’m trying to get into the habit of working out in the morning and sticking to this routine as I always have a better day if I’ve moved my body first thing. My week of workouts might look something like this: two F45 sessions, one spin class, two or three Pilates and yoga sessions, one run and one outdoor bike ride.

9am: Teach Pilates

I mainly teach private clients in the city in London. I love working on a one-to-one basis as everybody is so different, with various goals and reasons for doing Pilates. It’s such a mindful activity and I love making people feel better during their working day by becoming more aware of their bodies, and helping them relieve stress and tension. It’s also so rewarding seeing my clients get stronger and more mobile.

10:30-1pm: Coffee and laptop time

This is when I sit and write blog posts, organize events and retreats and catch up on emails. A lot of my “work” is also at my laptop. I’m not very good at working from home so will find a cute coffee shop to set up for a few hours. I love ordering a matcha latte and getting into the zone and also love being surrounded by other people all working on their own projects.

1pm: Lunch with PR or a friend

I might meet with another blogger friend or a brand for lunch, and usually have something like avocado on toast or a yummy mix of salads. I try not to look at my phone when I’m eating so it’s a nice break from the screen. Some of my favorite places for lunch in London include The Detox Kitchen, 26 Grains and Ethos Food.

2-5pm: Shoot Pilates videos

I have a YouTube channel too where I post short Pilates workouts and vlogs. I’ll head to the studio and film a workout or two with my photographer friend Lydia. I’ve always wanted to make Pilates accessible and fun for everyone. It’s something that you can do daily to feel better in mind and body and if you can’t make class or afford a one-to-one then you can do some of my 10-15 minute Pilates workouts.

6pm: Teach  at a Pilates event

I do a lot of pop-up events either that I’ve organized myself, worked with brands on for a launch of a new product, with a charity or just as a fun way to collaborate and get like-minded people together. These events always give me such a buzz and are always followed by yummy food and catching up with some of my clients, followers and friends. My mum and best friends are so supportive and are always at my events and retreats.

8pm: Dinner and drinks

I love to socialise and will often meet friends or family for dinner and drinks, or go to a launch event in London. I try to read on the train home or listen to a podcast but sometimes this is my only chance to check my social media so I might upload a post or scroll through Instagram to be inspired by all the amazing things people are doing.

10pm Skincare and sleep

I don’t really switch off properly until I get into my bathroom and start my skincare routine. I never miss it! It’s almost as if I cleanse the day off and get into bed feeling fresh. I try to get seven or eight hours’ sleep but a few days a week this is definitely more like six hours. However, my favourite way to recharge my batteries is with a long countryside walk or escaping somewhere lovely for the weekend.
